Zap Mama - Marie Daulne + Anita Daulne

Singers workshop at Artlab, Copenhagen, March 2008 - 17 photos

A few Danish singers got a unique chance to meet the fantastic Marie and Anita Daulne at their workshop in Artlab, Copenhagen on 12th March 2008. Marie Daulne is better known as the singer and main creative force of Zap Mama. Her sister Anita Daulne is today focusing on teaching music through fascinating workshops about polyphonic song techniques with inspiration from traditional Pygmie songs. The sisters have an African-European background which has influenced the special Afropean sound of Zap Mama.
