You don't get much closer to the original African roots of the Blues. Here it is performed entirely on traditional instruments and especially the Ngoni. Bassekou Kouyate from Mali is the master of the Ngoni and has created a completely unique band and sound. His wife, Amy Sacko ads her amazing vocals on top of it all.
