I recently had the pleasure of meeting Congolese film director Djo Munga as he attended a special screening in Copenhagen. His movie Viva Riva! has been the first to be produced in D.R. Congo for a great number of years and it is currently circulating at film festivals worldwide. The owner/webmaster of this site has been nominated for the Special Award 2011 at Danish Music Awards - World. It is the jury at the organisation World Music Denmark who has nominated Jacob Crawfurd and 4 others for their work and efforts in promoting World music in Denmark. The winners will be announced at the award show in Global (Copenhagen) on November 3rd 2011. At DMA-World awards will also be given to World Track of the year and World Album of the year.

With his energy and creativity, Ayi Solomon is a main driving force for African music in Denmark and music in general.
